Membership

We invite membership of our Society from anybody with an interest in photography and who wishes to increase their skills, see the work of others and in the process make new friends.

The membership year starts on the 1st January but if you join between September and December your membership will be valid until the end of the following year.

Prospective new members are invited to visit one or two of our regular Thursday main society meetings - see the Programme

RTPS Ethos

By accepting an invitation to join the Society and as a consequence of continuing their membership , all members are asked to agree to embrace the Society’s ethos.

The Society’s ethos is based on:

Honesty, integrity and courtesy: these values are essential to membership and involvement in the activities and running of the Society.

A warm, friendly and polite atmosphere should be felt by everyone at all times. This means that members should always conduct themselves in this manner, whether towards other members, guests or visitors to the club. Existing members should make every effort to make it as easy as possible for new members to be fully integrated into the club.

Health and Safety

All RTPS club activities are undertaken at the member’s or guest’s own risk.
All members and guests are expected to act so as to minimise the risk of injury to themselves or any other person.

Subscription rates for Sept 2023/24

• Annual adult membership - £68 per year
• Annual adult joint membership - £130 per year
• Under 18 annual membership - £24 per year
• Student membership - £35 per year
• Country membership - £20 per year - (Conditions apply, see below for details)
