Our Annual Exhibition Open Evening

The Open Evenings of our Annual Exhibition are always rather special but last night was particularly so given our forced two year absence.  It was good to be back in the magnificent setting of the Landmark Arts Centre last night which was a wonderful backdrop for our images which spanned so many different genres.

RTPS President Lorraine Clifton (pictured above right) welcomed guests of honour: The Mayor of Richmond Upon Thames Cllr Geoff Acton (centre), David Wood of the RPS Visual Art Group (right) and Mary Hayward-Smith, head of Art at St. Catherine’s School (top left).  Long term RTPS members Jay Charnock, FRPS, and Robert Charnock, opened the exhibition which will run until 24 April.

The Mayor Cllr Geoff Acton and his wife were extremely complimentary about the high standards of the photographs as they were show round the exhibition by our president Lorraine Clifton.

Pictured at the St. Catherine’s School display is Head of Art Mary Hayward-Smith with pupil and RTPS’s youngest member Amy Hannaford-Cooper. They are inspecting her GCSE panel. Amy is now studying for A levels.
