Paul has been a professional photographer since 1984beginning his career as a fashion and advertising photographer. He moved into newspapers finally becoming Picture Editor at the The Times in 2002. His photography company, Still, brings together his love for landscape phtoography and his personal experience of using photography for wellbeing, offering a new way to use photography to express yourself and explore the world.

Simon Ellingworth

Simon Ellingworth is a professional photographer and photography educator running photography tutorials and workshops through his business and through the Royal Photographic Society. His personal style covers many genres including street, people, portraits, landscape, monochrome and others. He has been a finalist in the iPhone Photography Awards, Professional Photographer of the Year, Mobile Photography Awards' and 'Sony World Photography Awards'. His workshops aim to challenge people’s thinking, change the way they see the world, and provide techniques to craft compelling images through a lens. Linda Wevill

Linda is a highly creative photographer whose characteristic style is to achieve a soft painterly effect which captures the atmosphere and essence of a place. She has two Fellowships at the RPS, in 2013 and in 2022, both in the Visual Art Photography category. She also has an EFIAP Bronze distinction. Linda’s work is exhibited widely both within the UK and internationally, including at the Royal Albert Hall, the National Theatre, the Oxo Gallery and the Saatchi Gallery in London.

Bill Ward (Paying Evening £3)

Bill Ward is a well know and highly acclaimed TV and Theatre actor, but also a top UK photographer. He has won many awards and commendations, both nationally and internationally and he has been widely exhibited and awarded in numerous exhibitions and galleries. In the last two years he has been a judge for UK Landscape Photographer of the year. He is also a tour/workshop leader for Light and Land. He runs his own workshops around the country and has given talks for the RPS. His work is highly creative and on occasions includes techniques such as close up work, Intentional Camera Movement and multiple exposures.

Leigh Preston’s work covers travel, portraiture, street, documentary, urban, landscape and studio, His style of photography relies heavily on atmospherics, dramatic lighting and strong storylines. Much of it is taken either in isolated places or is of buildings and landscapes that are well past their ‘sell-by’ date. Much is in monochrome. Leigh holds two RPS Fellowships, one for pictorial images taken of the mill towns in Lancashire and Yorkshire and the other for Darkroom printing. He belongs to the ARENA group of photographers and is a member of The London Salon. Now semi-professional, his work involves teaching photography and running workshops in the UK. He also is as a tutor and lecturer for Permajet. See his work at www.leighpreston.co.uk.
