Held second Tuesday of the month, run by John Philips. We look at everything you can do with your images once you have finished with the camera. You will always learn something!
We aim to inspire club members to get the most out of their images by:
- doing different things with them
- examining many different editing techniques across a range of software tools
- encouraging members to talk about images they have shown in internal and external competitions.
How the group works
Group facilitator John Philips explains:
“Post-processing is about your images, what you’ve been working on, when you would like advice on how to proceed to get the finished image as you’d like, or what you have found out and would like to demonstrate.
“The Group does not comprehensively use or review an ever-increasing variety of editing software: we can recommend YouTube channels for that.
“I shoot and post-process images specifically for the group meetings, demonstrating the techniques I’ve chosen and workflows that I’ve developed. There are no set themes, though we often review images that have been re-edited since the previous Monochrome or Pictorial Group.”
