FIAP Distinction success for Lisa and Francis

Congratulations to two more of our members who have both achieved amazing distinction success this summer with the Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique (FIAP).

Lisa Edie has achieved the highly prestigious Excellence FIAP Platinum (EFIAP/p) distinction, while Francis Peckham has started his journey with FIAP distinctions by achieving the AFIAP  (Artist FIAP) distinction. Both awards require an amazing amount of photographic skill and dedication.

To achieve his AFIAP distinction, Francis produced 70 salon acceptances from salons in 20 separate geographies and a portfolio of five, each of which had individually achieved 5+ acceptances.

For Lisa, the EFIAP/p Lisa recognises six years of dedication, creativity and consistent success in photographic salons around the world.

Over that period, Lisa’s photographs have achieved an impressive 1,228 acceptances across 440 salons, she’s achieved 145 awards, and her work being exhibited in 68 countries across the globe. These remarkable figures reflect her determination to continually develop her craft and present her images on the international stage.

Known within the club for leading Post Processing for several years, encouragement of fellow photographers and willingness to share her knowledge.  Sharing is two ways and she would never have achieved this without the challenge and mentoring of John Philips and the attenders of Post Process, Mono and Pictorial and other club members who shape her work.

The EFIAP Platinum distinction is awarded to only a select number of photographers who have demonstrated sustained excellence in international competition, making this a truly outstanding milestone in her photographic journey.
